Travel back in time and try your hand at using a Mediaeval Longbow with this experience in Maldon, Essex. Starting with a 30 minute briefing and introduction, you will learn the basic skills needed to fire one of these huge bows used as far back as the 14th century. Aim and shoot at mediaeval themed targets set out at different distances and see how far you can progress during your taster session.   • All experiences include handmade longbows and arrows crafted by talented bowyers and fletchers. Equipment and necessary PPE is provided.
  • You may form a group of up to 16 people

Mediaeval Longbow Taster

  • Under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult
  • Participants should have a good, general level of fitness
