The chance for a 10 - 17 year old to get behind the wheel of a huge 12 car transporter. They'll be guided by a fully qualified Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) instructor as they attempt to manoeuvre the 60-foot behemoth around a specialist course. The truck itself is a Scania P420, which boasts a 13-litre 6 cylinder engine and produces 420 BHP. The Junior Driver will get approximately 15 minutes in control of the Scania lorry, prior to which they'll be given a briefing in the cab by the instructor. Once they've got to grips with the oversized steering wheel and the 12-speed gearbox they'll attempt to drive the truck around slaloms as well as having a couple of attempts at reverse manoeuvres.
