Embark on an unforgettable tour of the Isle of Wight, kicking off from the island's very own Sandown Airport! With a helicopter as your ride, you're in for a treat, and even the airport itself is worth a visit, boasting events, plenty of flying action, and a charming bistro to boot.
Once you're up in the air, it's sightseeing galore! Despite its small size (just 13 miles from Cowes to St. Catherine's and 23 miles from east to west) you'll get a comprehensive tour even in just 15 minutes. Choose your direction - whether it's Ryde, Cowes, or the scenic St. Catherine's lighthouse (famous from the BBC's Shipping Forecast), you're in for a visual feast. Picture-perfect beaches, quaint villages, and the majestic Cow and Calf lighthouse at St. Catherine's Point are just some of the highlights you'll catch from up high. And of course, you can't miss Osborne House! This grand Italianate villa was the beloved summer retreat of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, and its opulence is sure to leave you in awe. Don't pass up this amazing opportunity to see the Isle of Wight from a whole new, breathtaking perspective!
