Meet Kevin and Jo Ryan, an adventurous couple who left their city life behind to become dedicated keepers of an impressive collection of raptors. With their passion for nurturing the working partnership between bird and handler, you'll be in great hands throughout your Hawk Walk experience.
Get up close and personal with the resident birds of prey, each with their distinct personality traits that become apparent as you learn to handle them. You'll have the chance to handle Ruby the Ruppells Griffon Vulture with her impressive 8ft wingspan, who loves to watch everything from her favourite post. You'll also meet Boo, the adorable Barn Owl with her trademark surprised look, and Meg, the Bengal Eagle Owl, who loves to bask in the Yorkshire sunshine.
Meet the Harris Hawks, Jack and Vera, with their fantastic names, and choose your partner for your walk. With group sizes kept small (usually up to four guests), you'll have plenty of choices to work with your favourite bird.
