The ideal getaway for two nights in a cosy little cabin in the Norfolk Broads countryside awaits you both. Amanda and Barry are the owners of a rescue animal farmstead in Catfield, and will welcome you to enjoy a magical stay in the Cozy Nook, nestled in three acres of woodland. It really is the perfect escape from it all for a couple of nights, and offers a real ‘back to nature’ experience, with a double bed, TV, kitchen with all conveniences and dining area and a private en suite bathroom, as well as a gas BBQ, outdoor seating area and a fire pit. And better still, as this is a kid free glamping site, it means you can relax in the total and unadulterated bliss such lush surroundings deserve to be enjoyed in. Just the sounds of nature all around you is quite restorative in and of itself. With Amanda, you’ll also get to visit either the pigs or the donkeys from their menagerie of rescue animals on your animal encounter, where you’ll get to help out feeding them and grooming them. Plus, with lots to do and explore in the surrounding area with all the Norfolk Broads has to offer, it all adds up to a truly unforgettable short break together.

Animal Encounter

  • Welcome, introduction and safety briefing
  • Spend one hour with either the pigs or donkeys during this hands on experience
  • Feed and walk your chosen animal
  • Learn about their daily routine and spend time grooming them
  • Photos will be taken during the encounter and sent to you via WhatsApp (optional)

Accommodation

  • Cozy Nook : Nestled in your own private 3 acre woodland meadow
  • Your accommodation includes a gas BBQ, outdoor seating, fire pit (please bring your own fire wood), double bed, TV, kitchen (facilities include kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge-freezer), dining area, heater and private en suite bathroom

  • Minimum age 18

  • Not suitable for spectators

  • Animal encounters are subject to weather conditions

  • Pets are not permitted on site
  • For the animal encounter please wear outdoor clothing suitable to the weather and wear closed toe shoe such as trainers or walking boots
  • As this venue is a glamping site please bring your own double size bedding (sheet, duvet and pillows) and towels
  • This farm is a rescue animal farm and not a working farm
