This 2 ½ hour long tour, which first started in 2017, will take you around the Brixton and Soho areas of London, which have become synonymous with Bowie’s legacy and history, and which really encapsulates the eclectic, forward thinking and dynamic performer, singer and songwriter he became. Starting from Brixton Underground Station, your tour guide and self confessed Bowie superfan will take you from his childhood home on Stanfield Road in Brixton, his school, to some of his favourite hangouts as a teenager, and then onto some of the places that helped solidify his career standing and place amongst rock iconography, such as the Trident recording studio, and the famous street in Mayfair where the album cover for The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars was shot. Concluding at Tottenham Court Road station, this is a great gift for aspiring young musicians to be inspired to be a hero - if just for one day - by the legend that is David Bowie.
