Experience what it's like to fly an ex-Army Helicopter with this realistic 90 Minute simulator experience based at Mildenhall in Suffolk. You'll even fly from a location which has historic ties with the army, as Mildenhall is owned and run by ex SAAF airman Kenneth Mockford who turned this former AH (Army Helicopter) into a fully functioning military simulator. Like with most sims, the flying experience is incredibly realistic with all the original functionality and systems in working order. The very parts that are making up this sim have flown all over the world as this original aircraft was used for service in the Falklands War, the troubles on Northern Ireland, Iraq and even part of the NATO interventions in the Kosovo war. So, alongside learning your way through the controls you'll also be treated to a slice of military history with the knowledge the parts from this very Heli stretch back to 1978. This is as close to flying a military helicopter as you can get, as you gain a real insight into how these aircrafts were previously used in many recent conflicts.
