Is there a better way to explore the Exeter countryside than on a Segway Safari? Although these Segways look flimsy, once you get the hang of riding one, you’ll find it’s such an easy and unique way of appreciating nature and the landscape you are riding through. In this experience you’ll be given a chance to briefly learn how to ride the Segway before starting the Safari where you’ll learn the controls and crucially - how to stay up right on one. After your initiation, you’ll be whizzing up and down through the Exeter hills in no time and will be exploring the wonders this landscape has to offer. Experiencing the different terrains sets this experience out from the rest, as you go through smooth tarmac to rough and ready woodland trails across the 2000-acre Escot estate just north of Ottery Saint Mary. But are you slightly worried the views will get the better of you? There’s no need as all of these tours are guided by an instructor so you’ll never get lost and can focus on enjoying the experience in its entirety. The 60 Minute session is the perfect amount of time to get to grips with these nifty machines, but we do offer 75 and 90 minute Safari’s too. For lovers of the outdoors who want to explore the Devonshire landscape in a new way, this is the activity for you.
