You will fly out of Rossall Field once you’ve received your safety briefing and received a rundown of the controls to master flying your chosen aircraft. With the ability to fly either a flexi wing or fixed wing, you can opt for that fresh open cockpit feel or a more traditional microlight experience - the choice is yours. After taking off, you’ll be treated to incredible views over the Morecambe Bay area and beyond as you soak up the sights and get a feel for the controls. Your instructor will run you through some basic flight manoeuvers and ensure you feel comfortable before you have a go yourself. Depending on the flight route, you may even catch a glimpse of the Lake District from the air as you float over the Lancashire countryside and beyond. Here at this flight school it’s hard for the passion of James and Hazel not to rub off on you and it’s almost guaranteed you’ll fall even more in love with flying after this lesson.
