Our nationwide voucher is incredibly flexible. Recipients have the freedom to choose their preferred location when they book their flight date, without the need to decide right away. With 60 minute classes on offer, including a safety briefing ensuring maximum time in the cockpit, there's an adventure waiting for everyone.
During the flight, a friend or family member can join you in the cabin, at the pilot's discretion and with the possibility of a local fee. Experienced flying instructors will take care of the more challenging aspects of the flight, leaving you to take control once you're in the air and providing guidance and instruction to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
For avid aviation enthusiasts, these trial flights pave the way for pursuing a Private Pilot Licence (PPL), as the time spent during these classes counts towards your training pilot's log book.

Flight times are 'chock to chock', ie. from when the plane starts to taxi, to when it switches off at the end of the lesson
Some schools will also include a personalised certificate
Visitors are welcome to come and watch the take off and landing
It may be possible for a friend or family member, who is also interested in flying classes, to sit in the back of the plane and listen in on headphones (min age 14)
This is at the discretion of the instructor on the day and subject to weight restrictions. Some flying schools will charge a fee (payable locally) for this.
Minimum age is 14 years old
Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
Height restrictions: minimum 4ft 6ins, maximum 6ft 4ins
Maximum weight is generally 16 stone (some venues may allow higher weight limits, please call to discuss individual requirements)
Please bring two forms of identity including a photo id, e.g. a passport
Flight lessons are all at Civil Aviation Authority approved clubs

Flying classes are usually available on weekdays and weekends throughout the year, subject to favourable weather conditions
Although time slots are allocated please be aware that aircraft lessons are subject to a number of factors which may potentially cause delay to your scheduled time
Whilst every effort will be made to help keep you on time we ask for a degree of latitude owing to the nature of flying, air traffic delays and weather considerations

I cannot thank the people at Beverly Airfield enough. My requested 70th Birthday Experience of a Flying Lesson matched my dad's many years ago for his 70th. As part of a two-day break, we visited the airfield the afternoon before, to ensure we knew where to go, and on the day, everything went smoothly, except the weather was a tad windy, but hey! My instructor Ian, and Peter too, should be singled out for their professional, relaxed manners. Thank you. I had a four seater experience, so my wife could photo and video, and share my day. From the very efficient initial booking where my special requests to bring an additional guest were very happily met, to arrival on the day, the pre-flight lesson and the flight itself, you can tell the guys at Norwich want to look after you.

The Flightpath UK Scool at Halfpenny Green , flying experience was a birthday treat for my daughter, 15yrs old , she took along her best. Both had an enjoyable and very memorable time, the instructor ( Mr Sat ) was exceptional. From arriving to leaving Mr Neil Wilde was a perfect host, his memories of the flying and aviation world are very interesting, now I fear I have a budding pilot in waiting! I bought the experience of flying a light aircraft for my partners birthday knowing that’d he’d talked about one day being able to fly. As I knew he’d want to share this experience, I booked for us both to go up. He thoroughly enjoyed himself and Lee the pilot was so informative before we’d even left the ground. Although my partner was slightly more reserved about the experience during take off than he ever thought he’d be, Lee was reassuring and calmed my partner down enough for him to take control of the plane.

It was my first flight experience. i'm happy to try it and I like to try it again in a proper time. flying over Chelsmford, Colchester and beautiful countrysides was amazing.
The instructor was experienced and we had a safe and smooth flight.

The experience was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed my flight and the pilot was brilliant. However, booking at Blackpool was not the easiest and I was disappointed with how we were treated on arrival. My friends and I was just shown into a room to wait and no information was forthcoming. We were kept waiting almost an hour with no explanation or offer of a drink. If we had known it would be so long we would have left to get a coffee and come back.
