Stretching 95 miles from East Devon to East Dorset, the Jurassic Coast is famous for its dramatic cliffs, hidden coves and stunning scenery. What better way to explore it than from the sky? Your adventure begins as you head south from Honiton, following the winding River Sid towards the picturesque seaside town of Sidmouth. From here, you will soar above the famous red cliffs and follow the coastline towards Seaton, enjoying incredible bird's-eye views of unspoilt beaches and rugged landscapes. Keep an eye out for fascinating landmarks, including the Frog Stone, Berry Camp Fort, Hooken Cliffs and Beer Beach, before flying over Seaton Bay and returning inland to base. Extended Jurassic Coast and English Riviera Tour

  • 50 miles (approx 25-30 minute flight)
  • Fly over Honiton following the River Sid to Sidmouth. Views of the spectacular Red Cliffs, you will also fly the extended route over Seaton.  Travel East along the Jurassic coast and over the beautiful Devon countryside.

  • Under 12s must be accompanied by a participating adult
  • Over 12s may fly unaccompanied
  • The operator reserves the right to remove any passenger if their behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate

  • Spectators are welcome to view take off and landing
  • There is a cafeteria at Dunkeswell Airfield
  • Flying activities have maximum weights (per seat) to ensure health and safety along with the comfort of fellow passengers
  • You must enter passenger/participant weight at the time of booking an experience. If weight varies between the time of initial booking and date of flight experience it remains the responsibility of the customer to update their individual weight via their online account prior to flight
  • All passengers will be weighed before flight and if disparity exists between weight disclosed and actual weight (within reason), the passenger may be eligible to fly

Helicopter Pleasure Flights:

  • Group size of One – Max 15 Stone (95kg)
  • Group size of Two – Max 30 Stone (190kg)
  • Group size of Three – Max 43 Stone (273kg)
  • Group size of Four – Max 56 Stone (355kg)
  • Group size of Five – Max 63 Stone (400kg)
  • Group size of Six - Max 75 Stone (475kg)

Please note that the maximum weight limit for the Co Pilot Seat on a helicopter pleasure flight varies depending on aircraft and other operational considerations but will not exceed 95kg

If as a party of one you weigh in excess of 15 stone, you may still be able to fly however you will need to purchase an additional seat. This seat will either have to remain unoccupied or can be occupied by an individual as long as the combined total as listed above is not exceeded. However, a total individual weight of 21.5 stone cannot be exceeded

Not being very tall I found it hard to climb the high steps into the helicopter, but once inside everything was good. A wonderful flight, such an experience. Wearing hearing aids I missed most of the commentary but it didnt spoil the adventure. The ground staff were so helpful and we took advantage of the shelter of the caf before the flight.

My first flight was cancelled due to the weather conditions,however second time lucky. Left from Dunkeswell,good little place with a barcaferestaurant. On arrival met by 2 members of ground staff, must say they were excellent.The Jurassic flight was very good,just wished it lasted longer.The pilot pointed out various places, only 1 negative from the whole experience the pilot could of been a little more chatty, which would of encouraged the 5 of us to interact,instead apart from a few words from him, the flight was silent, which I found a little uncomfortable. Would definately recommend the experience for any age group.

Took a while to get sent availability of dates, but after that everything went smoothly. We had a beautiful day for our flight, and the views were excellent. It is a bit cramped in the back of the helicopter 4 seats across and 3 of them occupied by largish men and this resulted in my wife feeling a little queasy. If you need more space pay the extra for the single front seat.

I bought this experience for my husbands birthday. I managed to book a slot the day after his actual birthday an easy process and all done online. I received confirmation emails promptly and the website was updated by 0800 on the day of the flight so we knew the flight was going ahead. The airfield was quite small but with a lot of activity but joining instructions were clear and we were met at the small restaurant by very professional and friendly ground crew. Safety was taken very seriously and a full briefing was given before my husband even saw the helicopter. An optional photo was taken and everyone got on board. The flight was the 20 minutes promised and although the route was slightly different from what had been promised it was spectacular and very enjoyable for my husband to see familiar places from a very unfamiliar viewpoint. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the trip and managed to take a number of excellent photos a couple are good enough to be made into prints for the wall.The only difficulty we had was the confirmation email wrapped around on my browser and I didnt realise the time of the flight had been changed we received a phone call from the ground crew and as we live not too far from the airfield we were able to get there on time something to watch for as it is not something I have ever experienced on my email before.

This was a 50th present for my son David Chance having had the same experience 3 years earlier. Fantastic ride along the coast for both of us , best part though is to have the copilot seat for the extra cost.Both of us would recommend this helicopter flight Exmouth to Lyme Regis and back

I had been looking forward to this flight for a few months and it really didnt disappoint From the minute I arrived everyone was very welcoming. Our pilot was great and described everywhere we were flying over. I loved every second.
