The Jurassic Coast stretches 95 miles from Orcombe in East Devon to Old Harry Rocks in East Dorset, making a helicopter visit to the east Devon section much easier than traversing it on foot! During this 20-minute journey, you'll fly south from Honiton towards the coast, tracing the meandering River Sid until it meets the ocean at Sidmouth, next to the Lifeboat Station. Then, you’ll soar over the iconic red cliffs along the coastal path, before turning back inland to return to base. Keep an eye out for the Frog Stone perched on the clifftop and the remnants of Berry Camp Fort. As you glide along the Jurassic Coast, you’ll swoop over Hooken Cliffs near the headland and pass over Beer Beach toward Seaton Bay before heading back to base. Flying as low as 1000 feet on these tours allows for an up-close view of the stunning Devon coast, featuring its historic beaches and landmarks. - The maximum weight limit for the Co-Pilot Seat on a helicopter pleasure flight varies depending on aircraft and other operational considerations, but will not exceed 95kg
- If, as a party of one, you weigh in excess of 15 stone, you may still be able to fly; however, you will need to purchase an additional seat. This seat will either remain unoccupied or can be occupied by an individual, as long as the combined total listed above is not exceeded. However, a total individual weight of 21.5 stone cannot be exceeded
