As soon as you arrive here, you'll be part of the hustle and bustle of a major airport which handles over 90,000 movements each year. Formerly known as Staverton, it was once a busy RAF training centre and has carried on teaching generations of budding pilots how to fly. Even though you'll no doubt be eager to get into the skies, your session will begin with a safety briefing and introduction from a qualified instructor who will be joining you in your lesson. Soon enough, it will be time to begin your journey in the skies and you'll be able to look out of the window as your instructor takes care of take-off, and you're treated to views of the beautiful Gloucestershire fields below. But you won't be sitting back and enjoying the view for too long as this is a flying lesson after all! Once ready, your instructor will hand the controls over to you and you'll steer yourself steadily through the skies and fluffy clouds all around. Whether this is your first time, or you are trying to clock up the hours for your licence, this lesson can be tailored towards all abilities.
