Once you’ve gained some height after your departure from Blackbushe Airfield just on the Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire border, your instructor will teach you the basics and offer you the chance to fly the aircraft. For many aviation enthusiasts, this is a dream come true. However, if you’re uncertain and just want to enjoy the ride, that’s fine! After all, who doesn’t want to sit back and marvel at the picturesque view? But the PA28 is an ideal aircraft to learn in as they are robust and are easy to fly. With a bit of know-how and advice from your expert instructor, you’ll be steering through the skies in no time. What’s unique about this aircraft, as opposed to the 2 seater Cessna 152s is you have the chance to take a friend or family member with you. If you know someone who is interested in potentially taking flying classes but are unsure, why not invite them along with you to sit in the back of the plane? Based in a historic, convenient location with a flying school that’s been on the site since 1985, rest assured you will receive a warm welcome and expert instruction in this flying lesson.   • Lessons are available throughout the year, seven days a week
  • Flights are subject to weather conditions and availability

  • Spectators are very welcome at this flying school
  • The Bushe Cafe on the airfield offers great views of the runway allowing you to see participants depart and land
  • It may be possible for a friend or family member, who is also interested in flying classes, to sit in the back of the plane and listen in on headphones
  • This is at the discretion of the instructor on the day and subject to weight restrictions.

Really enjoyed my flight. The instructor was very good if it wasn't the fact they cancelled twice and didn't start my flight until 11:45 though it was supposed to be at 10:30am I would have given 5 stars.
