Enjoy a 30 Minute Flying lesson in a 2 seater Cessna 152 setting off from the historic Blackbushe Airfield. Before stepping onto the plane, you will receive a warm welcome from the flying school and will listen to a pre flight briefing before stepping on board and learning the basics of flying. You’re in safe hands and don’t need to worry, as there has been a flying school on this site since 1985 after the airfield was transformed from RAF Hartfordbridge used in World War Two to RAF Blackbushe as we know it today. Our instructors love what they do and are eager to turn you into independent pilots as you become more confident in the skies. Each session is expertly tailored to the individual and in the post flight glow you’ll receive a certificate and have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments on sight at The Bushe Cafe. These on site facilities can also be enjoyed by any accompanying spectators who want to watch you in the air as they provide great views of the runway.
