The Young Driver team can’t wait to welcome you to Oakwell Stadium for your first taste of driving! During your session, you will practice key skills like steering, braking, reversing, and more.
The road course includes:
- Crossroads
- T-junctions
- Manoeuvre and steering zones
- One-way roads
Oakwell is the perfect venue for Young Driver lessons, with plenty of space to learn safely. Just minutes from the Alhambra Shopping Centre and Barnsley Metrodome Waterpark, this historic football ground has been home to Barnsley FC since 1888.
Please Note: There are toilets on site as well as On-site parking which is available to home supporters in the Norman Rimmington South Stand car park. Whilst some of the capacity is taken up by those holding seasonal passes, we do have spaces available on matchdays, sold on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are for cars only and are priced at £5.
Between the stadium and the Metrodome Leisure Centre is a smaller parking area for visiting supporters - the Queens Ground - which costs £5 per car, £10 for a mini-bus and £20 for coaches.
