Sywell Aerodrome Driving Experiences

Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire is one of our newest driving experience venues here on TrackDays. We added it to our books in July 2020, since which time it has quickly built to become one of our most popular venues in the East Midlands.

It is known predominantly as being one of the leading General Aviation Airfields in the UK, and with great road links to the A43, A6 and A14, it’s easily accessible from nearby towns and cities including Northampton, Rugby, Corby and Kettering.

If travelling by car, use the following address for your Sat Nav: Sywell Aerodrome, Hall Farm, Northamptonshire, Sywell, NN6 0BN. If travelling by train, the nearest station is Wellingborough, and a taxi takes just under 10 minutes from the station to the venue.

Sywell boasts fantastic customer facilities including a briefing room, cafe and even a hotel on site. There is a brand new customer car park and an air museum on site. Spectators have a great view of the track and can enjoy watching their friends and loved ones roar down the track in their chosen car.

With two long straights, the track at Sywell is very fast so good students can expect to reach speeds of up to 100 mph in a Supercar. At one end of the track day is a tight hairpin bend and at the other is a more sweeping bend. This makes for a great layout to enjoy all aspects of the car such as the handling and braking as well as the speed and acceleration.

The 3 mile long track at Sywell is of course perfect for getting to test drive some of the world’s most exotic and desirable supercars, for which our Supercar driving experiences are the perfect booking to make.

With as many as six turbocharged marques available on a selection of both Blast (3 mile / 1 lap) and Thrill (6 mile / 2 laps) packages, this could be your chance to experience supercars without the super showroom price tags.
