Norfolk Gliding Club Driving Experiences

Located at Tibenham Airfield, half an hour’s drive from Norwich, is the base for Norfolk Gliding Club. It was a former airfield for both the RAF and USAAF in World War II, and is one of our most recent additions to our range of driving experience venues in East Anglia here on TrackDays. It has great links to Norwich, Diss and Thetford via the A140 and A11.

Facilities available on site include the recently refurbished club house, and a café offering light refreshments. There are also toilets and disabled facilities and a briefing room available as well.

With great positioning deep in the heart of Norfolk’s open countryside, Norfolk Gliding Club affords the opportunity for both Adult and Junior drivers alike to take to the wheel of a whole host of exciting vehicles from as little as £29.

Whilst gliders may offer a more subdued experience, getting behind the wheel of a turbocharged supercar is definitely a bit more high octane. And at Norfolk Gliding Club, both Adult and Juniors (aged 10 - 17) have the chance to get acquainted with some of the most desirable and recognisable models of Supercars in the world.

Better still, not only is there the chance to opt for one of our many Blast (3 mile) or Thrill (6 mile) packages, but there’s also the chance to drive up to six supercars all on the same day, so the keys to a Ferrari 360, Aston Martin DB9, Audi R8, Porsche 911, Lamborghini Gallardo and Ariel Atom could all be yours (just for the day, sadly!)

Young motor enthusiasts aged 6 - 9 aren’t left out of the equation either, as most of the very same models on our Supercar driving days are available across our range of High Speed Passenger Ride packages.

On both sides of the Atlantic, some pretty special and iconic cars have been produced over the years. Norfolk Gliding Club offers a range of Classic Car experience packages which give you the chance to experience the finest motors of yesteryear.

So whether it’s the pure American retro brawn of a Mustang GT350 or Corvette Stingray, or the timeless homegrown class of a Jaguar E-Type or 1968 Mini Cooper S, from just £45 you’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time (without the use of a flux capacitor!)

Fast and Furious in Norfolk

The Fast and Furious film franchise has gained a legion of followers all over the world since the first movie in the series was released 20 years ago back in 2001.

Now, the opportunity to take to the same sets of hot wheels driven by Paul Walker, Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson awaits on our selection of Fast and Furious driving experiences at Norfolk Gliding Club.

Available in both Blast and Thrill options with up to six cars from the films of your choice available, including the Nissan R34 Skyline, Toyota Supra and Mitsubishi Eclipse, these will make you feel as close to the heart of the action that you see on screen.
