The classic Mini is instantly recognisable around the world as a true British icon. Indeed, the original Mini had everything. Apart from style in abundance, it was famed for its simplicity and nimble handling abilities, making it a favourite with car buyers in the UK and overseas.
Development of the Mini was spearheaded by Alec Issigonis, surrounded by a small (no pun intended!) and talented team and it was in 1959 that the motoring world had its first glimpse of the miniature motor that was big in character.
Aside from this, who can forget the starring performance of the Mini Cooper in The Italian Job alongside Michael Caine, which cemented its place as one of the most popular British cars of all time.
Now’s your chance to jump behind the wheel and head out on the track in these pocket-rockets that provide as much fun and excitement as some of the more illustrious supercars in our fleet.
One of our most popular experiences is our Classic Mini Thrill available at two locations in Oxfordshire and appropriately close to where the modern Mini has been rolling off the production line!
However, if driving just one Mini isn’t enough then you can mix it up with a selection of other classy British classics with our Triple Classic Car Thrill. This gives you the opportunity to turn back time to a golden era of motoring by also picking another classic to enjoy such as a Jaguar E-Type or an Austin Healey 3000.
And if that wasn’t enough then TrackDays.co.uk also has a package which lets you experience no less than five classic motors with the selection also including a 1967 Mustang Fastback and a classic Aston Martin Vantage.
Driving a classic should be an experience to be enjoyed at a pace that suits your driving style and with an expert instructor by your side you’ll get maximum enjoyment during your time on track.
The simple answer? All over the UK! We have worked extremely hard to ensure that as many of our packages as possible are available nationwide so regardless of where you’re based, we have a suitable driving experience for you. And we’re pleased to say that this is no different for our Mini Driving days.
We have standard locations from the deep south west, through the midlands, out to the east and even in Scotland. A few of these venues include: Perranporth in Cornwall, Norfolk Gliding Club in Norfolk and Tockwith in Yorkshire amongst many more.
On top of this we also have a wide variety of famous venues and circuits that are perfect for the Mini Experience. Why not take the wheel at the iconic Castle Combe racetrack in Wiltshire, or even Blyton Park in Lincolnshire.
Alternatively, why not test the Mini at the iconic Dunsfold Park in Surrey - home of the infamous Top Gear race track! But famous venues or not, we’ll have something to suit you!
If you’re looking to find the nearest location to you, why not make use of our filter tools on the website to select the region of the country you’re interested in. Or alternatively, why not use the Map feature which will allow you to see all the locations and decide which one is the closest to you!
Booking a Classic Mini Driving Experience is now as simple and succinct as it has ever been. We have worked hard to ensure that your process from selecting the product to actually getting behind the wheel is enjoyable every step of the way! We have numerous options for bookings and we also have a number of different payment methods available also, so you should have everything you need for an amazing customer experience.
If you’re looking to purchase one of these iconic Mini experiences for yourself, then why not check out our live date availability calendar? This is the perfect tool for self-bookings as it will allow you to see all of the dates timings we have available on a variety of different experiences. Simply select the package you like, click on “show dates” and then select your time from there! It’s super simple and allows you to ensure you’re picking the right experience at a perfect time all at your own pace!
Alternatively, if you’re booking this experience for someone else, then you’ll most likely want to opt for our open date gift vouchers. These are fantastic as they offer 10 months validity and allow the lucky recipient to redeem them any time within that period. They can either opt to redeem them online which then will allow them to utilise our live date availability calendar or they can call our helpful customer service team who will assist them with the booking.
But whichever purchase option you decide we have you covered here at Trackdays! So waste no time and book your Classic Mini Driving Experience today to jump behind the wheel of one of Britain's most iconic vehicles!

Our Website Images
TrackDays showcases products, events, and track days from a variety of vendors and locations. We work directly with the best experience providers in the UK, and they sometimes need to alter their venue and car lineup, so the specifications supplied on the website may differ from what is stated. They will always strive to provide an experience that is as near to what is described as feasible.
Locations and Vehicles
Trackdays.co.uk has a variety of facilities, automobiles, and locations to utilise. If a service is momentarily unavailable due to a failure, weather, or construction operations, a replacement will be provided. It's important to remember that a change of location, day, vehicle, and schedule may be necessary at times. For roughly £20-£25 per driver, a damage waiver may be obtained. These waivers are usually completely voluntary and will be offered on the day of the event.
Sessions & Durations
For all event and session durations, an anticipated duration is specified. If an event must be rescheduled, you will be notified as soon as possible. Your ticket is nonrefundable after your itinerary has been verified.
Most driving experiences have certain rules in place to safeguard the health and safety of employees and drivers. You must be between the heights of 4'11" and 6'6" and weigh less than 18 stone. You must be at least 16 years old to ride as a passenger. Please double-check to prevent any mistakes, since it varies based on the source and kind of experience. Any driver participating in a driving activity or a vehicle track day must have their driver's licence with them at all times. A completely unrestricted motorcycle licence is required for all bike track days. You must have the appropriate licence in order to participate. During a car track day, all cars are subjected to a static and/or drive-by noise test. Wherever feasible, we display the static noise limits on our timetables. A vehicle that fails the drive-by or static noise testing on the day of the test will be unable to participate in the event and will not get a refund. For public track days, helmets are mandatory. You must wear two-piece zip-together or complete leather protection to compete in a race. Before you ride, you will be informed of any additional rules and restrictions. You will not be entitled for a refund if you are asked to leave the track due to misbehaviour.
The weather may have an impact on your event. Regrettably, rescheduling before an event is not always feasible. Track days and driving excursions are often cancelled and rescheduled in severe instances. You have a contractual duty to the event site or event provider if it is raining or otherwise bad weather. Only if it is feasible will a refund be granted.
Making a Reservation
On our website, we maintain our event schedule as up to date as possible. If you can't find the event or date you're searching for, please use the contact form. We will do all we can to help you. It's best to book your chosen event, venue, and date as early as possible during peak periods like weekends and summer months. Your reservation will be forfeited if you do not follow the terms and conditions set out by the event host. You cannot change a reservation after it has been made.
The day and time of your event should be included in your booking confirmation (this does not include the automatic purchase email you receive that confirms what you have just ordered). After completing the purchase, you should get a final confirmation within 48 hours. In the event that any vehicles or equipment are unavailable due to mechanical breakdown, the locations will provide a suitable substitute on the day.
Our gift packages are sent by Royal Mail 48 ®, which takes 3 to 5 working days, or by DPD for Next Working Day Delivery. Go to the website's news section at the bottom of the page to view the final Christmas delivery dates.
Damage waivers paid on the day may incur an additional fee from certain suppliers. We make it clear to our customers that they are not forced to buy anything in order to participate in the event. All of this will be covered in the safety briefing.
All Trackdays.co.uk pricing includes VAT and are current at the time of publication, unless otherwise stated. We have the right to adjust any product's pricing at any time. If we are unable to fulfil a booking owing to a price mistake on the website, we have the right to refuse it. We presume you have read and agreed to our terms and conditions if you purchase an experience day or own car track day over the phone with a staff member.
Calls to the Trackdays.co.uk booking line are recorded for staff training purposes; however, if sensitive information is supplied over the phone, call recording is turned off. All of our providers are well-known in the industry and have been carefully selected; nonetheless, the inclusion of an experience range does not imply that we guarantee any of our suppliers' safety standards or excellent performance.
Our suppliers' Public Liability Insurance will cover all participants at Trackdays.co.uk events. Other insurance, such as ‘Own Vehicle and Personal Accident Cover,' may be found by clicking on the Insurance link.
We do not accept open wheel cars on ordinary public track days.
Trackdays.co.uk retains the right to modify these conditions at any time and without prior notice to clients.
