Officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2014, the Mercedes AMG GT received widespread attention upon its release. It was only the second vehicle Mercedes had developed solely in house, and you can directly attribute the cars excellent performance to this.
The AMG GT boasts an impressive 4 Litre Twin Turbo, V8 engine capable of producing an astounding max speed of 196 mph. This isn’t to be outshined by its acceleration however, with this stunning car also capable of reaching 0 - 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds!
Alongside this, the production of the vehicle in house, and the focus on enhancing suspension and handling, has helped propel this vehicle to new heights on the race track. The Mercedes AMG GT has since gone on to create a wide selection of variants on the vehicles, specifically engineered for different purposes.
In particular, the GT3 took the world by storm when it became one of the most successful race vehicles of 2018, after it took first, second, third, fourth and sixth place at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring.
