Crail Airfield was originally established as an RAF base in 1918, and many of the impressive buildings from that time are still present on the site today. If you're planning a visit, keep in mind that the toilet block is a bit of a walk from the pitlane. There is a burger van on-site where you can grab some food, but note that there is no seating available. However, there are some covered areas in the pitlane where you can take a break from the sun or rain.
