Portugal is home to Portimão, a brand new world-class circuit with a challenging and technical layout and excellent facilities. Set in the South of Portugal in the province of the Algarve, the Portimão facility is one of the most state of the art circuits in the whole of Europe. It prides itself on the world-class paddock complex as well as its safety record. The official name of the venue is the Algarve International Circuit.
Below you will find the full list of Portimão track day dates. The Bike Track Days run in the typical format of 3 days on track, 3 nights accommodation, bike transportation and use of stilledges from Swindon to and from the circuit. A local pick-up and drop off point can be arranged at an additional cost. The events will be run in group formats with Novice/Inters, Intermediates and Inter/Advanced, with each group getting 60 minutes out on the track every hour.
The circuit itself is just shy of 3 miles in length and is a technical track and has been described in the past as being similar to a roller coaster. This is due to the 9 right-handers and 6 left-handers. which all come together in a formidable track experience. Portimão is a big hit with riders from the UK due to its relatively low costs for the amount of track time and also the sunshine and relaxed Algarve lifestyle.
