This experience for two includes an all-day ticket to ride the heritage steam trains, explore Cranmore Station and enjoy a delicious Whistlestop Continental breakfast along the way. Your breakfast will be freshly prepared at the Station Café at Cranmore Station and served in a handy takeaway box. Enjoy it in the café, beside the tracks in the picnic area, or take it aboard the train for breakfast on the move. For the full experience, settle into one of the vintage carriages with a hot tea or coffee, tuck into your croissant and watch the Somerset countryside roll past the window. The railway runs from Cranmore towards Shepton Mallet, travelling as far as Mendip Vale before returning to Cranmore. A return journey takes around 30–45 minutes, and with your all-day ticket there’s plenty of time to enjoy more than one trip. Back at Cranmore, explore the engine sheds, workshop and miniature railway, as well as the David Shepherd Discovery Centre, celebrating the renowned wildlife artist and conservationist who helped establish the heritage railway.
