Overview
Meet the resident Owls and Raptors with a VIP Family Birds of Prey session at a Falconry Sanctuary in Dorchester. You will be given the opportunity to fly a variety of birds of prey during your session. Some of the birds you will meet are very rare. You will get to meet with owls, falcons and hawks and see them fly. This family voucher gives access to the sanctuary for 2 adults and 2 children, so it is a great way to make memories with your family. The experience will last around an hour and a half so gives you plenty of time to meet the birds of prey in the lovely and relaxed session at the centre.

My partner and myself arrived at our Birds of prey experience and were greeted with a lovely cup of tea from Tara and then we were introduced to The Birds of Prey by Pete and Kyle. We got to meet and fly a number of birds and hold there eagle which weighed in at 20kgs But I have to say my favourite was Pip the kestrel. Wish the whole team all the best for the furture

Extreme Falconry was a brilliant experience. We worked with six birds with two groups of people, five in one and six in the other with the birds flying between each group. Each bird landed on our arms two or three times. The falconers were very informative and caring towards the birds.

It was a really enjoyable experience starting with a little owl and barn owl flying to the glove, then up to another size of hawk a beautiful Chilean Eagle, the Falconry expert was really good, giving loads of information on each bird of prey and the importance of conservation. The finale was the golden eagle to have a quick photo with before the end of the experience. The only thing that would have made it better was if the sun had been shining, as it was a very damp day, but all the birds flew really well even in the rain, A great experience.

Brilliant experience. It was a 11 session, weather was brilliant and I really enjoyed the bird handling, information and chat. Loved the vulture, her clumsy way of landing onto my arm, expressions and behaviour. I was very interested in the conservation work and dedication commitment of the handler. Would highly recommend this to anyone

This was a really wonderful experience I flew four birds under the very experienced eye of the handler, who was friendly, endlessly informative and who made my treat all the more enjoyable The birds were very well trained, and it was amazing to be so close to and involved with such majestic creatures. I would recommend this experience to anyone with a love of birds.
