Have an adventure exploring the limestone caves of Wookey Hole with a Three Hour Caving Experience. Wookey Hole in Wells is a 40 minute drive from Bath and offers a cool experience to do on holiday or if you want to explore where you live some more. A professional instructor will guide you through the naturally formed caves. You won't just be squeezing through tight holes, you will be walking, crawling, climbing and abseiling to adventure through this underground wonder. The half day session will be a work out but totally worth it to see this unique cave system that has the river Axe running through it, which you will have a small boat ride down to reach some of the climbing sections. You will have to be brave to give it a go but once you have you will be having a blast in Wookey Hole!

  • No previous experience in caving or climbing is necessary
  • A good general level of fitness and flexibility is required
  • Not suitable for participants during pregnancy, suffering whiplash, epilepsy, asthma, heart conditions e.g angina, knee, shoulder or ankle problems from previous sporting injuries (dislocations/fractures), attacks of fainting, dizziness or blackouts, or had allergic reactions from body piercings needing to be removed

  • Experiences operate on weekdays and weekends throughout the year
  • Morning sessions start at 09:45 and afternoon sessions begin at 13:45
