  • Three-hour Blacksmith taster lesson in Maldon, Essex
  • Learn basic blacksmith skills from our expert Tom
  • Craft forged metal items to take home

  • Introduction to general blacksmithing skills
  • Manage the fire, draw a point and make basic scrolls
  • Select your appropriate materials and work with traditional blacksmithing tools
  • You will be part of a small group of two participants

An excellent morning which I thoroughly enjoyed. As a recently retired DT teacher it was good to practice some of the skills I had previously taught. It was also good to take away a product that I was proud of making.
