Set off from Inverness for a full day discovering the rugged charm of Scotland’s Far North, travelling a circular route that shows off some of the most striking scenery in the country. You will settle into a luxury air-conditioned coach while your guide shares stories about the region’s history, wildlife and culture. The journey begins with a visit to Loch Fleet, a peaceful spot known for its seals and birdlife, before moving on to the seaside town of Golspie. From there you will continue to the elegant Dunrobin Castle, where you can explore the grand rooms and beautiful grounds at your own pace. After lunch the tour carries on to Wick, once a bustling Viking settlement, before reaching the famous John o’ Groats. This is one of the best places to admire the dramatic coastline and, with a bit of luck, spot puffins, grey seals and even orcas. Throughout the day you will have plenty of chances to take photos and enjoy the changing landscape. The experience is ideal for visitors and locals who want a relaxed yet rewarding day out, and it makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves Scotland’s scenery. Please note that entry to attractions is not included.
