There’s something rather special about cooking a meal from scratch and then sitting down to enjoy it with friends or family, and this two hour tapas cookery class gives you the chance to do just that. Taking place at a cookery school founded by Ann Hood, a former Masterchef contestant from 2009, the session begins with a warm welcome from your chef before covering a few kitchen basics to get you settled in. Once that’s done, it is straight into the good stuff - creating a selection of classic Spanish dishes designed for sharing. Think golden tortilla, crisp patatas bravas and a proper traditional paella bubbling away. Throughout the class, your chef will guide you step by step, inviting small groups to join in with the prep and cooking so you can really get stuck in and pick up those all important techniques. The focus is very much on learning by doing, so you will head home with the skills and confidence to recreate the recipes for years to come. More than just a cookery lesson, it is a relaxed and enjoyable experience that leaves you with both new know how in the kitchen and a few irresistible dishes to share around the table.
