A 2 ½ day swordsmithing course
Design and forge your own sword
Welcome, introduction and safety briefing
All tools and equipment will be provided
Learn the basics of blacksmithing and how to use the fires, and learn about heating and hammering your steel
Watch a demo before creating your sword from start to finish including how to forge a blade, cross guard, pomel, make a handle and assemble everything together.
Take home your sword at the end of the workshop
Tea and coffee are provided, but you are welcome to bring snacks or lunch with you (a local pub takeaway can also be arranged for a supplement)
You may form part of a group of up to 4 people

It is advisable to have some experience by taking an introductory course.
Wednesdays throughout the year, subject to availability
Courses take place over 2 ½ days, starting on Wednesdays at 09:00 and finishing on Fridays at 13:00
