Start your adventure with a private two-hour lesson at the famous International Surfing Centre on Fistral Beach, the heart of British surfing. Under the guidance of expert instructors, you’ll learn to catch waves, perfect your technique, and even try standing up on the board!
Your lesson begins on dry land, where you’ll get to grips with the basics, before heading into the water for the real action. Don’t worry about the weather—the centre provides all the specialist equipment and attire to keep you comfortable in any conditions. Tokens for a hot shower are included, so you can freshen up before celebrating your day of surfing with a cheesy pizza and a glass of Prosecco to share.

Requirements
Surfing is a physically demanding activity, so participants should have a relatively good level of fitness and be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres.
Minimum age: 18 years (as there is alcohol available at the end of the lesson).
No maximum age, weight or height restrictions.
A medical declaration form must be completed by all participants before they can take part.
All instructors are qualified surf coaches and lifeguards - you'll be in safe hands!

This private surfing lesson is based on individual tuition between yourselves and your expert instructor.
There will only be 2 of you taking part in the lesson.
You will then have access to all specialist equipment for the rest of the afternoon.
The lesson will take place on a public beach, so family and friends are welcome to come along and watch. There are public dining and shopping facilities at the surfing centre (subject to seasonality), which they are also welcome to visit.

Time Spent at Venue: 8:00
You will receive 2 hours of intensive tuition with an expert instructor, and then you will have full use of all specialist equipment for the rest of the day.
Your experience will finish with a pizza to share and two glasses of prosecco at the Beach Bar.

Equipment & Clothing
All specialist surfing equipment, including a wetsuit and
surfboard will be provided by the surf school, upon arrival.
During the winter months you will also have access to hooded
thermal rashvests, boots and gloves.
Please bring your own swimwear, towel and change of clothes.
Participants will have access to changing facilities and hot
showers.
Once you have returned your equipment, you'll be entitled to
share a pizza and a glass each of prosecco at the Beach Bar.
Weather
This private surfing lesson for 2 runs all year round, in most weather conditions.
However, if the water conditions are deemed unsafe for beginners, your lesson may need to be rescheduled for an alternative date.
If there is not enough surf for a surfing lesson, you may choose to take part in a flat water activity instead.
