Requirements
Surfing is a physically demanding activity, so participants should have a relatively good level of fitness and be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres.
Minimum age: 8 years.
No maximum age, weight or height restrictions.
A medical declaration form must be completed by all participants before you can take part.
All instructors are qualified surf coaches and lifeguards - you'll be in safe hands!

If the group size is larger than 8, there will be additional instructors in the water with you.
All participants will then have access to the surfing equipment for the rest of the afternoon.

You will receive 2 hours of group tuition with an expert instructor, and then will have full use of all specialist surfing equipment for the rest of the day.

Equipment & Clothing
All specialist surfing equipment, including a wetsuit and surfboard, will be provided by the surf school upon arrival.
During the winter months, you will also have access to hooded thermal rash vests, boots and gloves.
Please bring your own swimwear, towel and change of clothes.
Participants will have access to changing facilities and hot showers.
Weather
This group surfing lesson runs all year round, in most weather conditions.
However, if the water conditions are deemed unsafe for beginners, your lesson may need to be rescheduled for an alternative date.
If there is not enough surf for a surfing lesson, you may choose to take part in a flat water activity instead.
