About the Experience
Located in the centre of Stratford upon Avon on Rother Street - mere yards away from the birthplace of the great bard himself, William Shakespeare - The White Swan Hotel will cordially welcome you and your plus one with a complimentary glass of something fizzy. Here is where you'll also meet your expert perfume consultant who will be running the session. Once everyone has arrived, the session will commence with a brief history of perfume; its origins, its cultural significance and where it started to what it is today that's most insightful. Then you will move on to be introduced to an extensive library of 20 different scents, covering top, middle and base notes that are used to create perfumes. You'll get to pick your favourites, and learn about how to best blend these harmoniously together to create your very own unique fragrance, and you'll receive a tastefully presented gift box with a 20ml spray bottle of your creation to take home with you. And that's not all, because when your noses have finished doing all the work of creating your fragrances, your tastebuds can have a much needed reward in the shape of a delicious three tiered afternoon tea, positively plentiful with cakes, sandwiches and scones, as well as freshly brewed tea and coffee for you to relax with and bring to a close a truly memorable day together!
Requirements
The perfume making experience is suitable for almost anyone. Under 16's are welcome to participate, but each person under 16 must be accompanied by a voucher-holding adult.
Suitable For
Maximum group size per booking is 12, however, the venue will hold more. The perfume-making session typically accommodates small groups, usually up to 10 participants, ensuring a personalised experience.
Duration
The entire experience will last approximately 1 ½ hours.
Anything Else?
- The perfume making workshops generally run one Saturday per month throughout the year, subject to availability. Workshops normally start at 2.00pm however this is subject to change.
- Spectators are not allowed on site for this experience.
- All ingredients used in this experience are completely vegan and cruelty free.
- This experience is suitable for all genders - all 20 blends can be mixed and cater to aftershaves as well as perfumes.
- This experience is designed for everyone, from beginners to fragrance enthusiasts, making it a perfect introduction to the art of perfume making.
- You don't need to bring anything other than yourself and a willingness to have fun! All materials and tools for creating your perfume will be provided.
- Dietary restrictions can generally be accommodated for the afternoon tea, but it's best to inform the venue in advance to ensure they can cater to your needs.

There is no dress code for this experience, however you may wish to dress smartly for a luxury afternoon tea.
Weather
The weather should not affect your perfume making course and afternoon tea, however if a cancellation occurs your class will be rescheduled for another date.
