The Harbour Tour is an excellent way to explore the area around the port. Vessels as wide as 35m and as long as 125m can easily enter the main harbour mouth. You can still see the cranes and dry dock areas of the container and engineering ports.
The Inner Harbour is a saltwater lake beyond the bridge, which splits Lowestoft into two halves. You will see all this on your gentle 4-knots cruise around the harbour area, going right up to the impressive 14,000-tonne silo, before turning around to head back.
