You'll have a choice of two locations to stay at; either the more luxe surroundings of a glamping excursion over at Dobbs Weir for those that want their creature comforts, or there is a more back to basics experience over at the Almost Wild campsite. Open on weekends between April and September, this is a rare chance to enjoy a more simple break, without electricity or hot water, using composting toilets and really getting the opportunity to enjoy the tranquility and peace of being beside the river. The safari tents on both sites are spacious and can comfortably sleep up to five people, with plenty of room to unwind after an enjoyable day spent exploring the many trails and waterways on this regional park that's easily accessible from London. And believe us there's something quite special about falling asleep under a canvas roof with the sounds of nature around you.
