On this experience day in Sussex, it's all about the bees and the honey brews amid the Great British countryside. You'll discover how to keep bees and how to use honey to make scrumptious craft beers. There isn't a sweeter combination in our minds! Just eight miles outside of Brighton, at the Albourne Estate, your host will greet you and welcome you to an adventure centred on bees and beer. The vineyard is home to the bees - a fantastic setting and a great backdrop for your day. Who wouldn't like to spend the entire day surrounded by the beautiful South Downs vines?

  • Hands-on beekeeping and beer tasting experiences
  • Short introduction to bees and beekeeping
  • Get suited up for a hive inspection, check the frames and check the health of the hive

  • Free time to explore the vineyard and on site shop
  • Allow approximately two hours for this experience

  • In the event of extreme weather conditions, a full hive inspection is not recommended to protect the bees. Instead beekeeping-related activities will be offered on-site
