The well-known ‘Idleburger Buttress’ offers exciting challenges for all skill levels, making it a favorite spot in the Bristol climbing community. All essential climbing gear is provided, including a helmet, harness, and rock shoes. You'll receive a kit list before your session so you can come fully prepared to take on the heights. And what heights they are! Rising over 30 meters above the River Avon, the gorge offers breathtaking views—if you dare to look down at the tiny cars on the A4 below! Beyond the climb itself, you’ll gain expert tuition, stunning scenery, and the unbeatable sense of achievement that comes with pushing past your limits.   • Minimum age 12
  • All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • Climbing is a physically demanding sport; those who have a poor level of fitness and flexibility may not be able to take part
  • Unfortunately, there is no disabled access for this experience
  • No height or weight restrictions, but please see the below safety equipment measurements

  • Harnesses (52cm - 104cm waist, 25cm - 70cm leg)
  • Rock Shoes (limited stock, so please check when booking)

  • This experience is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of poor weather
