Bird Of Prey Experience Days: Get closer than ever to some truly captivating owls during this unforgettable two-hour owl handling experience in Kent. You will have the chance to meet, hold and learn about these magnificent birds, guided by expert keepers who share their passion and knowledge throughout the session.
Hosted at a renowned birds of prey centre in Knockholt, the experience begins with a warm welcome from the resident falconers and an introduction to the centre and its feathered residents. You will then be introduced to a selection of beautiful owl species, which may include a Bengal eagle-owl, Eurasian eagle-owl, barn owl and boobook owl. These calm, well-trained birds are used to human interaction, giving you plenty of opportunities to hold them, observe their unique personalities and take photographs (without flash). As the experience unfolds, you will learn fascinating insights into their behaviour, hunting habits and individual traits, before enjoying time to explore the centre’s peaceful six-acre nature trail.
