Once everyone is ready, you will set off into the surrounding woodland, strolling through scenic trails while hearing interesting stories about the local area, including historic landmarks such as the old Newburn coke ovens and the birthplace of famous engineer George Stephenson. As you walk, the hawk will soar between the trees above you before returning to land gently on your arm when called, giving you the chance to see these powerful birds up close and appreciate their calm and intelligent nature.
