Outdoor Experience Days: Get ready for an action-packed hour of mountain boarding in Hertfordshire – a thrilling outdoor adventure that’s guaranteed to get your heart racing.
Often described as skateboarding’s wilder cousin, mountain boarding uses similar balance and control skills, but with your feet securely strapped to the board for added stability and more adventurous manoeuvres. It’s perfect for confident skaters looking to try something new, yet totally beginner-friendly too – think snowboarding on grass, with plenty of laughs along the way.
Your session takes place on one of two purpose-cut slopes overlooking three beautiful lakes, giving you a scenic backdrop as you build confidence and pick up speed. All equipment is included – board, helmet and full protective pads – and you will start with a safety briefing before learning how to stop, steer and control your descent. Shift your weight to turn, angle downhill to gain momentum and slalom your way to the bottom as your instructor offers guidance and encouragement throughout.
Suitable for ages 6 to 65, this one-hour mountain boarding experience is ideal for families, birthday celebrations or anyone who loves a burst of adrenaline. Master it once and you’ll be hooked – it’s the kind of skill you’ll want to practise again and again.
