Your 1.5-hour workshop begins with an introduction to the art of glass charm making. You’ll learn about the different types of glass, their colours, and how they’re transformed into delicate beads. Then it’s time to get hands-on and design your own unique glass charm bead, reflecting your personality and style.
Once your designs are ready, watch in awe as they are brought to life before your eyes using a blowtorch. For those aged 14 and over, there’s even the chance to try bead-making yourself under expert guidance — an unforgettable part of the experience.
As a special touch, both you and your mum (or daughter) will receive a duplicate of each other’s bead, so you can each wear your own design as well as one created by the other. These charms are beautifully attached to a coloured tube bracelet of your choice, making a lasting keepsake of your time together.
Because the beads need to be cooled in a kiln, you won’t take them home on the day. Instead, your finished bracelets — complete with your own bead and your partner’s duplicate — will be carefully posted to you afterwards.

All ages can participate in the mother daughter bead design and
jewellery making, however participants under the age of 5 must be
accompanied by an adult at all times.
