Formerly known as Manchester City Airport, Barton Aerodrome was purpose-built in the late 1920s and is one of the largest General Aviation airports in the country. Despite its past of serving scheduled flights, it now focuses primarily on microlights and other light aircraft. While riding in the microlight with Mark, you'll get to witness remnants of Barton's history in the Grade II listed control tower, terminal building, and hangar.
