Learn the essential skill of map reading and navigation so you can explore the beautiful countryside that the UK has to offer. You will be welcomed with an hour theory session over a tea or coffee to get you started before heading out to get walking. With guidance from an experienced instructor you will learn about maps, how to get a grid reference, read systems and scales as well as learn strategies, distance, direction, and much more. You will also learn to understand contours, hazard awareness and how to route find so that you can stay safe when going walking. Lasting six hours your group of up to twelve people will be master map readers and no time and never have to worry about getting lost again!
