Your experience begins on land, where you will learn essential kite control and wind theory using trainer kites. After a break to refuel, you will pull on a wetsuit and head into the shallow waters of Poole Harbour’s designated kite zone—an ideal setting for beginners. Here, you will practice key skills such as body dragging, moving through the water, and confidently controlling the kite.
With one-to-one or small group coaching tailored to your ability, the session adapts to your pace and progress. Whether it’s your first taste of kitesurfing or the start of a new passion, this fun-filled day promises excitement, learning, and plenty of smiles—making it a fantastic gift for water sports lovers.
Age Restrictions: Minimum 16 years. (12 years in Portsmouth)
There are no specific requirements regarding maximum or minimum height or weight, but you will need to fit into a harness.

Spectators are welcome, but please listen to the instructors as to where the safest place to stand and watch is.

The course will last five to six hours. The start times vary due to tide times.
