These waterways are some of the most picturesque for kayaking in the area - with the rivers running past Bakewell, Matlock, Belper, and Derby. These experiences are excellent for beginners because the team use inflatable tandem and solo kayaks with stabilising side tubes. If you're a bit more experienced on the water there is still plenty of excitement on offer - particularly on the rapids session.

Kayak for 7 miles of Derwent water between Darley Dales and Matlock Bath
Paddle through beautiful Derbyshire countryside on the upper sections before taking on the small grade white water on the Derwent rapids
Rapids
This session will introduce you to the basics of white water paddling
Paddle to the Matlock Slalom course and take on the rapids!

Available on selected weekday and weekend dates throughout the year

All participants must be able to swim and feel confident in open water
