For anyone who lives for good food but doesn’t always want to splash out on restaurant meals, street food is the perfect answer – bold, exciting and packed with flavour. This hands-on cooking experience gives you the chance to dive into the world of international street food at Ann Hood’s purpose-built cookery school, with venues in London, Essex and Berkshire. Ann, who many will remember from Masterchef 2009, and her team of expert chefs will be there to welcome you and guide you through the day. After a friendly introduction, you will join small groups to help prepare and cook a variety of dishes, learning plenty of tips and tricks along the way. Depending on when you attend, you might be making Mumbai-style mint-smoked kebabs, Moroccan meatball tagine, or even a bit of spicy salmon sashimi. Once the hard work is done, you will sit down with your fellow food lovers to enjoy everything you have created, paired nicely with a glass of wine or a cold beer. With its mix of global flavours, expert tuition and plenty of time to enjoy your creations, this half-day cookery class is a delicious and relaxed way to expand your skills and get a real taste of street food from around the world.
