Hosted at RAF Mildenhall, an active RAF/USAF airbase in Suffolk, this fixed-base simulator has been designed and developed by those who have worked at RAF Mildenhall. They have applied their extensive knowledge of avionics electronics to this Spitfire simulator which carefully and closely replicates the experience of being in the real thing as possible in the replica cockpit, kitted out with full analogue controls and tactile, and a stunning HD definition 220° screen onto which outside views and the silhouette of the wings and propeller projected onto it! You'll start off with a basic session in the training simulator to help you get accustomed to start up, taxiing, flight controls and landing, before your mission awaits over at the Spitfire simulator where your mission will be to successfully fly the plane, and maybe even take on an aerial dogfight like that in the Battle of Britain. This flight simulator experience, for the mixture of emotions it elicits and the rush it provides, is quite unlike any other.

  • All sessions start with a short briefing and 30 minutes on a training simulator, getting you familiar with flight instruments, start-up, taxi, take-off, flight controls and landing
  • Training sessions are designed to prepare you for your flight in the Spitfire

90-Minute Spitfire Experience
