Which launch site you take off from is up to you, although the most popular tends to be that of the country pile that is Ashton Court Estate, which is home to the famous annual Bristol Balloon Fiesta festival that takes place here every August. Amongst the many sights you might expect to take in from the basket, on a full 360° panoramic view, are the Clifton Suspension Bridge, the magnificent bridge built by the renowned architect Isambard Kingdom Brunel spanning across the River Avon linking Clifton Downs to Leigh Woods, along with other renowned local landmarks such as the Cabot Tower, Ashton Gate Stadium and far reaching views out to the Chew Valley and Wales that are something to behold from a birds eye view.   • Meet just after sunrise (can be pretty early mid summer!) or a few hours before sunset. Timings change as the length of the day changes
