A hugely popular tourist destination, you will be taking off from your choice of launch site, which includes Royal Victoria Park and the Pumpkin Patch amongst others. The former location will be of particular interest to those who watch the hit Netflix series Bridgerton, as it is close to the famous Royal Crescent, the semi circular round of Georgian stone houses that are as much of a landmark as the city itself! As for the latter location, as you might have guessed, it is based near a farm that grows pumpkins in Corston to the south of the city. The wind will be controlling your direction and speed, and thus determining your route, but amongst the sights you can expect to see from the air, there's the Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge, the River Avon and the Bath rugby ground, as well as stunning panoramic views across the whole city! If you like, you can also get involved with the unloading and packing away of the balloon before and after the flight - and you'll also receive a free glass of champagne to toast the flight with when you're back on the ground!

  • During summer months evening flights are generally scheduled on weekdays with morning and evening flights available on weekends
  • Winter flying can be more restricted due to unsettled weather conditions
  • Meet just after sunrise (can be pretty early mid summer!) or a few hours before sunset
  • Timings change as the length of the day changes

  • Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear should be worn
