About the Experience
The grand and stately Victorian surroundings of The Majestic Hotel and Spa, dating back to 1889, and located in the centre of Harrogate, is the most fitting of venues for this divine, nay glamorous experience. You'll be welcomed upon arrival with a complimentary glass of something fizzy, and be greeted by the expert perfume consultant that will be running your session in a group setting. Once everyone has settled in and arrived, it's time to head off for your session. This begins with a very enlightening surmised history of perfume; its origins, its uses and significance in other cultures, and the journey it has taken from where it started to the present day. Then comes the exciting part: your introduction to the library of over 20 different scents you will work with to create your own unique fragrances. You'll learn more about the importance of top, middle and base notes, and how these blend together best to create perfumes to rival that of any haut couture perfume house. And once you've created your very own bespoke perfume, you'll receive a beautifully presented gift box with a 20ml bottle spray of your perfume to take home. But of course, you'll not want to head home without giving your tastebuds a treat. And a freshly prepared afternoon tea for you both, replete with freshly brewed tea and coffee and exquisite three tiered trays of sweet and savoury treats will be the ideal flourish to end this fabulous perfume making session together!

The entire experience will last approximately 1 ½ hours.
Anything Else?
- Harrogate perfume making workshops generally run one Saturday per month throughout the year, subject to availability. They normally hold a workshop at 1:30pm however this is subject to change.
- Spectators are not allowed on site for this experience.
- This experience is suitable for all genders - all 20 blends can be mixed and cater to aftershaves as well as perfumes.
- No prior experience is necessary, as the workshop is designed for individuals of all skill levels. Attentive instructors will guide you through the process.
- This experience is designed for two people, making it a perfect gift to share with a friend, partner, or family member.

Equipment & Clothing
There is no dress code for this experience, however you may wish to dress smartly for a luxury afternoon tea. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing. As you will be experimenting with fragrances, it's best to avoid strong scents on the day of the workshop.

The weather should not affect your perfume making course and afternoon tea, however if a cancellation occurs your class will be rescheduled for another date.
