My mum was so looking forward to this experience,it kept getting cancelled due to covid,but she eventually did this Birds of prey experience and really enjoyed it,we did it at with a lady called Danielle a true credit to the venue my mum even remarked she felt she had known her for a while,very friendly and knowledgable about the birds and although it is her job you can tell it is a passion for her.I did this experience 3 years ago with Danielle and i would advise anybody thinking of doing this experience to do the same.Looked around the birds first and was told alot of information about them in an informative and entertaining manner.Then went to the field to fly a harrier hawk and then an owl,mum loved itHIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The falconry experience at Hatton Country World in Warwick is fantastic. We were met and greeted by Danielle who took us around all the flights and told us about each individual bird. She was knowledgeable and informative, asking if we had any questions and answering each one fully. After completing the tour of the flights it was time to get up close and personal with some of them.Because it was so warm that day Danielle took us into the indoor flight area and gave us a demonstration with a hawk and answered even more questions. Then it was our time and we were allowed to let the Hawk fly from its perch and land on our gloved hand. We started off close to the perch and stage by stage we increased the distance to the other end of the flight area.If we were disappointed when the Hawk was put back in its flight, we were delighted when we were allowed to do this again,but this time with an owl.Overall, the experience is fantastic, and I would 100 recommend it to anyone.
