An introduction to all the birds at the centre
Learn about the different species, their habitat and environments
Entry to Hatton Country Wold is included
You will form part of a small group of up to 4 participants
Gain hands on experience with a selection of birds of prey
Learn about initial training (manning) and progress to flying the birds on a training line
Fly the birds free in the display area
Course lasts around three hours
Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating or spectating adult
Weekdays and weekends throughout the year
All dates are subject to availability and weather conditions

My mum was so looking forward to this experience,it kept getting cancelled due to covid,but she eventually did this Birds of prey experience and really enjoyed it,we did it at with a lady called Danielle (a true credit to the venue) my mum even remarked she felt she had known her for a while,very friendly and knowledgable about the birds and although it is her job you can tell it is a passion for her.
I did this experience 3 years ago with Danielle and i would advise anybody thinking of doing this experience to do the same.
Looked around the birds first and was told alot of information about them in an informative and entertaining manner.
Then went to the field to fly a harrier hawk and then an owl,mum loved it
